Link- Link is the brave young hero that is destined to save Hyrule.
Princess Zelda- Princess Zelda is guarding the Triforce from evil.
King of Hyrule- The King was known throughout the land as a great king and on his deathbed he told Zelda to protect the Triforce, even from her brother.
The Prince- The Prince of Hyrule, Zelda's brother, wanted to know the the whereabouts of the Triforce. When Zelda would not tell him he hired a Wizard who cast a sleeping spell on her. When the Prince realized what he had done he vowed all of females in the royal family be named Zelda.
Ganon- Ganon was killed by Link yet his minions still roam Hyrule.Ganon can be resurrected if the blood of Link was spilled on his ashes.
Impa- The loyal nursemaid of the royal family. She tells Link about what has happened and sent him on his quest.
